Kanban: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KanbanReconnoitering Kanban & Lean - Dave Laribee
Recently, we installed a Kanban pull system at Xclaim Software to
reduce some of the wastes associated with weekly iterations, demos,
and retrospectives. I'll spend 30-40 minutes covering our
implementation while mixing in some of the philosophical underpinnings
of Lean including flow, pull, and standard work. We'll transition into
an open discussion about emerging Lean practices with an emphasis on
why you should care, how to get started, and highlighting resources
I've found useful in learning, developing, and applying Lean Software
Development practices.
